Hi, it's me again

I am a Jesus lover (who cusses a little), a wife , boy mom, sugar addict, Lab momma, lover of weights and all things photography!! 

My love for photography probably manifested in high school... you know the days of disposable cameras?? HAHA maybe you've never used one but I never went anywhere without one! I lived to see those pictures printed! Wal-Mart was quick and cheap and man did we need cheap! I These cheap prints are still in albums in my office! Fast-forward to 2005 when my little brother passed away and hurricane Rita came crashing in and the only thing I had left of my brother was print pictures hanging on my wall and I was terrified I would lose those memories! I set out on a mission to scan every picture and store them on CDs and now of course who has a CD player?? Don't worry my new mission was to upload to the cloud where they are currently safe and I still have those memories tucked away!

A few years after my brother passed away this guy was born! I knew how important pictures were and the roll they played in my life and I wanted to savor every smile, laugh and even the tears and mad times. I decided to pick up a digital camera... it was no disposable camera that's for sure! That digital camera opened my eyes to a whole new world! A new way of seeing the world! 

In 2011 I started my photography business with the support and encouragement from my husband! I loved the feeling of handing over images of Mothers with their kids, milestones of their daughter graduating or even capturing that baby bump! I loved seeing the pure joy on their face when they saw the images for the first time!! It made my job all worth it! In early 2017, I made the decision to step back from photography and focus on my family and full time job and just breathe! Life happens sometimes and I just needed a break!

In 2022 we hit a milestone in our house, one that I don't think I was truly prepared for (are we ever really)… High School! 

High School brought on a new level of lacrosse and football and I found myself wishing I hadn't sold all my gear!! I was itching to see him on the field through my lens! See how my lens captured him move and lock that moment forever! 

Sports photography has become such a passion and is truly an amazing art to see the game unfold in the images captured during the game! But can I tell you  what is the most amazing part of sports photography? It is seeing the players reaction to seeing themself in action on the field! The true excitement and confidence it brings them is all worth standing in the heat on the sidelines to capture those moments. And that friends is why I am here capturing all the lacrosse and football games! My kid is why! 

A family girl at heart and these guys are my heart! They love and encourage all my dreams! They will pose for me and help me in any way! If you know me then you know the crazy they bring to my life and you love them too! If you don't know them... you are missing out!
